T Sisters
T Sisters
The T Sisters, born and raised in California and now based in the creative hub of Oakland, embody harmony. It’s in their blood, bones, and history. Erika, Rachel and Chloe have been singing and writing music together since childhood, and the lifetime of practice shows.

The three sisters’ inventive songwriting is supported by their own acoustic instrumentation as well as upright bass (Steve Height), mandolin/guitar (Andrew Allen Fahlander), and drums (Marlon Aldana). Their sound represents a continuum of music, from traditional to pop influences, moments of breathtaking a cappella to swells of energetic indie Americana.

In the last two years, they’ve been honored to support such acts as Amos Lee, The Wood Brothers, Todd Rundgren, The Waybacks, Laurie Lewis, ALO, Elephant Revival, The California Honeydrops, and more. Notable performances include Merlefest, Kate Wolf Music Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass (support role), Sisters Folk Festival, Strawberry Music Festival, Americana Music Association Festival, Music City Roots, and Garrison Keillor’s ‘A Prairie Home Companion’.

Following their 2014 debut album Kindred Lines (produced by folk/bluegrass legend Laurie Lewis), the T Sisters released their self-titled full-length album in October of 2016. T Sisters has already received extensive airplay leading to a top position in the Roots Music Reports and continues to climb in the Americana Charts.
Madeline Tasquin Trio
Madeline Tasquin Trio
Imagine a freak teleportation accident in which the humor and harmony of The Boswell Sisters, the pop sensibilities of the Dirty Projectors, and the folksy vocal blend of Red Molly are fused into a vocal trio combining all of that music-DNA. The result might sound something like Canadian songwriter Madeline Tasquin's jazz-influenced folk-pop trio, who have been wooing audiences since their first performances in November 2016 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Comprised of Alaskan Americana singer-songwriter Shiloh Parkerson (Shiloh & the Sun, formerly American Nomad) on vocals and flute, Massachusetts-born vocalist & bassist Hannah Levy (Kitka Ensemble, Little Arcs) and BC-born Tasquin at the helm on guitar, ukulele and keys, the trio is equal parts heart, harmony, and humor. Singing Madeline’s musically adventurous songs about everything from the cosmos to herbs to magical encounters with French wind gods to polyamory, the San Francisco Bay Area-based trio also sprinkles in their unique renditions of songs by Leonard Cohen, Gillian Welch, Sandy Denny, and even a doo-wop version of Drake’s top-40 hit “Too Good.”

Madeline Tasquin Trio has an exciting year of 2018 ahead of them, beginning with an appearance at The Independent in San Francisco in January, their first studio recording together in February, an apt pairing with the Bay Area’s brilliant T Sisters presented by KC Turner in March, and a 3-week long tour up the Pacific Coast to play the BC festival circuit in the summer.
